Rewards people actually use, anywhere in the world
Hoppier helps 1,200+ companies send gift cards, meal credits, and stipends that recipients genuinely want — and returns every unspent dollar. We've been building toward that simple idea since 2017.
From office snacks to global rewards
Hoppier didn't start as a gift card platform. We started in 2017 delivering snacks to offices — “the smarter way to fuel your office.” Then 2020 emptied the offices, and overnight our customers had a new problem: how do you feed, thank, and celebrate a team that's suddenly everywhere?
So we rebuilt Hoppier around the part that always mattered: making people feel looked after, wherever they are. Instead of shipping boxes, we issue virtual cards that work with thousands of vendors — coffee in Toronto, lunch in Manila, a wellness app in Berlin — localized to each recipient's country and currency.
That origin still shapes how we build. Snack delivery taught us that logistics kill generosity: anything late, lost, or unusable turns a thank-you into an apology. Digital rewards fixed the logistics; the rest of our product fixes the waste.
What we believe
Recipients should choose. A reward someone picks is worth more than a gift someone guessed. Every Hoppier card opens to choices, not a single brand.
Unspent money belongs to you.Around a third of traditional gift card value is never redeemed — that's a business model built on breakage. Ours is the opposite: 100% of unused funds go back to your balance.
Global should be the default. Distributed teams are normal now. A rewards program that only works in one country quietly excludes the rest — so ours works in 60+.
